Husna Hasan, MA, NET
Experience: 2 years

Husna completed her post-graduation in Comparative Literature from Pondicherry Central University with an 8.03 CGPA (out of 10). Previously, she worked at the Harvard-incubated Led By Foundation and JDT Islam Arts & Science College as a Teacher-Trainee and an Assistant Professor, respectively. Additionally, she has worked as an Apprentice Journalist at the Delhi-based CompassIn. Her passion for teaching and early-career exposure in journalism makes her a perfect fit to teach language and literature to vocational journalism students.

Meghna Santhosh, B.Ed, KTET (Category 3), MA
Experience: 1 years

Meghna completed her two-year teacher's training course with a 9.2 CGPA (out of 10). She went on to clear the first three examinations of the four-category Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test (KTET). She acquired an MA from the MA College, Kothamangalam. She is also a versatile singer, dancer, and public speaker. Her versatility and teaching flair make her a favorite among our students.

Thahira K Alikunji, MA, M.Ed, NET, MPhil
Experience: 15 years

A stellar student of the Arabic language with a fantastic track record, Thahira completed UG and PG from the historic Maharaja's college as a third and second-rank holder, respectively. Before joining M.Phil, she worked as a lecturer at her alma mater for two years. More than just a teacher; she is also a reliable guide and mentor. Her commitment and dedication, evident throughout her student and teaching life, is an inspiration to all our students.

Dr. Muhammad Aslam, MA, NET, MANF, PhD
Experience: 3 years

Aslam completed his MA in Arabic from the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad. He was awarded the prestigious Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF) for research. Consequently, Aslam submitted his PhD thesis at EFLU on the topic "Patriotic spirit in the literature of Ghassan Kanafani with special reference to his novel "Men in the Sun." الروح الوطنية في أدب غسان كنفاني بإشارة خاصة إلى روايته "رجال في الشمس." In addition to teaching, Aslam is also a professionally qualified Arabic translator with a diploma for the same from EFLU. His instructions thus prove extremely useful for our BA Arabic (vocational) students.

Department of Commerce

Fessin Mokkath Moideenkutty, M.Com
Experience: 10 years

Fessin previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Jai Bharath College of Arts & Science and Al Ameen College, Edathala. She has also briefly taught in Dubai. She has witnessed many batches of B.Com graduates and M.Com postgraduates making it big in their careers under her watch. Her experiences in teaching and life instill both life lessons and subject knowledge in our students. Unsurprisingly, none other than many of our student's parents have commended her aptness, commitment, and courtesy.

Nimmy K Benny, B.Ed, SET, M.Com
Experience: 3 years

Nimmy completed her bachelor's in education with an overall score of ninety-four percent. She completed her MCom with a specialization in finance & taxation. She worked as an apprentice accountant before starting her career as a lecturer at KMM college, Thrikakkara. She has also cleared the Kerala State Eligibility Test (SET) for teachers. She is straightforward and well-spoken, and our students find her very approachable.


Thanveer Ibrahim, MA, NET, MPhil, PhD (ongoing)

Thanveer is pursuing research in Cultural Studies and the Politics of Knowledge from the Dept. of Malayalam, Kalady Sri Sankaracharya University. He completed his MA from the School of Letters, MG University, and UG from UC College, Aluva. His erudite career under the likes of Prof. Sunil P Illayidam, a renowned critic in Kerala, has inspired him to become a professor himself. Our students find themselves lucky to be taught by him and are often mesmerized by the young, charming, and lively persona of his.


Dr. Shalini Peroor, MA, PGDip, MPhil, PhD
Experience: 22 years

Known by the pen name "Lathika Shalini," Dr. Shalini is an author who has published and edited several books in Hindi. She took her MA, PG Diploma (Hindi Journalism), MPhil, and PhD from the Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha in Chennai, which was established by Mahatma Gandhi to promote the study of the Hindi language in the south. She previously worked at the Govt. Law College, Ernakulam. Her passion for the Hindi language motivated her to run a language academy in Kochi that attracts students internationally. Undoubtedly, her classes are sure to be a treasure trove for our students.
