Procedure of Admission
Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam introduces a Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for admission to UG and PG Programs in every academic year. The CAP offers the facility for online submission of applications to multiple colleges and courses, providing centralized ranking of candidates. Admission to all programs is strictly as per the rules and regulations announced by the University. Separate rank lists are drawn up for reserved seats as per existing rules.
College Application Form
Obtain the official college application form for admission directly from the College Office during standard working hours.
Accepted Methods: Cash or UPI Payment Facility.
* Cheques and Demand Drafts (DDs) are strictly not accepted.
❖ Required Documents
Candidates are required to submit the following original and copied documents to the College along with the Application:
Mark ListOriginal mark list of the qualifying examination.
10th CertificateCopy of SSLC or equivalent 10th-grade certificate.
Identity ProofCopy of Aadhar Card.
Transfer Certificate (TC)Original document from the institution last attended.
Conduct CertificateOriginal certificate from the head of the previous institution.
PhotographsRecent passport-size photographs. 4 Nos
Special CertificatesEligibility, Income, or Equivalency Certificates (if applicable based on state board).
Quota DocumentsAttested copies for Ex-servicemen/Freedom fighters dependents, NCC, Arts, Sports, or physical disability certificates.
Important Admission Day Guidelines
- All candidates must produce the CAP printout and Admit/Allotment Card at the time of admission.
- Candidates who do not appear for the interview on the prescribed date will not be eligible for admission.
- Admission will be finalized and confirmed only after the successful completion of the interview.
- Mandatory Requirement: The candidate must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the time of admission.
