Functioning of AICTE

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is a national-level statutory body responsible for the proper planning and coordinated development of technical education in India. In our college, AICTE plays a significant role in ensuring quality education, innovation, student development, faculty improvement, and institutional growth.

Objectives of AICTE

To maintain quality standards in technical education.
To promote innovation, research, and skill development.
To improve employability and entrepreneurship among students.
To support faculty development and training programs.
To encourage industry interaction and practical learning.

Major Functions

Approval and regulation of technical programs and courses.
Implementation of student development initiatives and internships.
Conducting workshops, seminars, FDPs, and awareness programs.
Providing support for research activities and innovation projects.
Monitoring academic quality and institutional performance.
Encouraging digital learning and modern teaching practices.

Student Development Activities

AICTE supports various student-centered activities such as skill enhancement programs, placement training, entrepreneurship development, hackathons, project exhibitions, and career guidance sessions. These activities help students improve their technical and professional abilities.

Faculty Development

Faculty members are encouraged to participate in Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), workshops, conferences, and online certification courses. AICTE initiatives help teachers update their knowledge and adopt innovative teaching methods.
