Anti-Ragging Cell
The Anti-Ragging Cell of our institution actively works to ensure a safe, friendly, and respectful environment for all students. The cell strictly follows the guidelines given by the University Grants Commission to prevent any form of ragging on campus.
Activities & Measures
- Awareness Programmes: At the beginning of the academic year, the cell conducts sessions for first-year students focusing on the harmful effects of ragging and associated legal consequences, encouraging healthy peer relationships.
- Campus Monitoring: Posters and notices highlighting anti-ragging rules and helpline numbers are displayed across the campus. Cell members regularly monitor different areas of the institution.
- Committee & Squad: An Anti-Ragging Committee and squad have been formed, consisting of faculty members and student representatives.
- Confidential Reporting: A complaint box is placed in an accessible location to allow students to report issues confidentially.
Throughout the year, no ragging incidents were reported, reflecting the positive and supportive atmosphere of the campus. The Anti-Ragging Cell remains committed to maintaining discipline and promoting harmony among students.

Anti-Narcotic Cell
The Anti-Narcotic Cell is an important committee functioning in the college to create awareness about the harmful effects of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and other addictive substances among students. The cell works to ensure a safe, healthy, disciplined, and drug-free campus environment.
Main Functions
- Awareness Programmes: Organizes seminars, classes, workshops, campaigns, poster presentations, and anti-drug rallies to educate students on health effects, legal consequences, and social problems caused by addiction.
- Creating a Drug-Free Campus: Monitors campus activities and promotes strict discipline to maintain a narcotic-free educational environment.
- Counseling and Mentorship: Provides guidance through faculty mentors and counseling support for students facing emotional stress, peer pressure, or addiction-related issues.
- Collaboration with Authorities: Coordinates with the Excise Department, Police Department, Health Department, and anti-drug organizations for preventive activities.
- Observation and Monitoring: Carefully observes student behavior and campus surroundings to prevent harmful activities related to substance abuse.
- Promoting Healthy Student Life: Encourages participation in sports, arts, social service, and personality development to maintain positive habits.
